EARLY OCTOBER TRIP TO MONTANA WAS SNOWY

Ralph and I had a great trip to Montana in early October to see Tim and Diane but it was more winter than fall. It was snowy and cold most of the time but really beautiful. We made a fast day trip to Yellowstone National Park. It was a winter wonderland with the snow. We saw elk, buffalo and antelope in and outside the park. This is an elk we saw inside the park casually standing near the back of one of the buildings in the park. A frozen waterfall in Yellowstone Park

Diane and Ralph on the way to dinner at a local saloon in Red Lodge and it was 13 degrees.

Diane and Tim in front of a Yellowstone coach at the Buffalo Bill Historic Center in Cody, Wyoming. We took a day trip to see the wonderful exhibits and art there.

It was a great trip even if a bit cold. We enjoyed seeing the sights with Tim and Diane as our guides.
