Testing from my Kindle and it worked.

HOLIDAY HAPPENINGS

11/21 Ralph’s 69th birthday. Grant gave us tickets to the Sprint Center Basketball SEB Tournament in the Sprint suite. Nice food and drink. A KU game that was a blow out against St L U. Very nice night and good parking.

11/22 THANKSGIVING Had nice Turkey dinner with Kathy Grant and Jules. Quiet day which was fine. Jules is so cute in her turkey dress. Miss Personality. She liked green rice and pumpkin pie. Jules had been to see Grant’s grandmother Darleen and was the hit of nursing home.

11/23. 9am No plans today but to start decorating for Christmas.
7pm Dinner at Mr. SUSHI and they remembered our order but I changed mine to scallops and they were very good. Got Thanksgiving decorations down and will start on Christmas this weekend.

11/25 Went to the Summit Steakhouse last night for dinner club. Very good and more reasonable prices than former Rumors.
Tried to put up our old Christmas tree yesterday and just couldn’t cope with it one more time so this morning we went to Home Depot and got a new one that is PRELIGHTED!!!! Love it. So much easier. Went to Perkins for breakfast which was a treat. Saw the Sages and McNutts there. Worked on decorating the house for Christmas this afternoon. More to do tomorrow. Chiefs lostagain. Ralph making our turkey. Smells good.

11/26 Monday. Finished the Christmas decorating. Glad for that. Looks pretty good. Now turkey leftovers. But do like turkey.

11/29 5:30 am Thurs.Up too early because heard on radio (which usually puts me back to sleep) that the winning powerball wassold in Missouri. Welll. . . Not my ticket. One number of on the powerball. Need to go back to sleep.
Yesterday RESS went Vaile mansion. It was all decorated for Christmas. Good tour. Had lunch at Ophelia ’s on the IndependenceSquare. Very good too. Going to try to go back to sleep.

12/2 Sunday. Busy weekend. Kathy and I took Jules to see Santa. First went to Bass Pro at about 11am. Had to get a ticket for the 3:30 sitting. (Elf explained that last year fist fights broke out in the long lines). Ate lunch at Bass Pro (good). Then decided togo Independence Center to see what the Santa situation was there. When we got there just before Santa got back from break at 1pm, we were the first in line. Nice pic of Jules unhappy on Santa’s lap! Took the ticket back to BassPro and gave it to agrandmother taking her granddaughter to see Santa. She was happy.

Then Ralph and I went Eldorado for dinner Saturday night.    Today RESS went to Crown Center and had lunch atMilano’s then saw NUNcracker at the Heartland Theater. Enjoyable afternoon. Now Ralph is making steaks on the grill it is so warm.

Diane and Tim are in Heidleberg Germany with friends and having a great time. Snowing and cold there.
